Apparently I received two of these stories from the same author Ms Flynn writes short and smexy erotica The themes she picks are familiar and easy to get into This one appeals to those who have boss fantasies that want to whisk them away into a fabulous all expenses paid vacation This fantasy is what I had when I was a kid Probably when I was in high school Now as a jaded 40 year old this fantasy is amusing in a naive fashion This story is probably best for the new adult crowd as indicated in the blurb Common fantasy for young 20 year olds looking to have their prince charming show up and take interest in them One thing I will commend this princess Kenna is no unassuming mouse It is clear she worked hard to where she is and earned every right to be wined and dined With her credentials it is a bit believable that a boss would want her on his team

Kenna is a beautiful attorney with an average personality As gorgeous as she is she has all American attributes Kenna has just been hired to work for Carter Armstrong’s law firm He’s impressed with her resume but secretly also impressed with herWhile at a company trip to the Cayman Islands and in the process of trying to find out about Carter Armstrong a few things happen1 Kenna finds out that Carter apparently fits the description of your average handsome billionaire philanthropist2 He has way larger assets than most men During her first night on a whim Kenna decides to venture out of her fabulous and exotic hotel room called The Sapphire and in the process finds herself encountering Carter head first accientallyNot to sound cliché one thing leads to another and Kenna and Carter get hot and heavyI enjoyed Sapphire It was enjoyable and almost too fast It was one of those stories that made you want to find out It was like a fantasy come trueFor those of you whom enjoy contemporary erotica this story is for you—just don’t get upset when it finishes

Extended review can be found at The Review Board Actually I had this closer to a 35 but a few elements kept me from ranking it at a 4 I did like the detail the writer went into when describing the private plane the Cayman Islands and the Sapphire itself It made me want to be there The pace was relatively steady neither overly rushed nor painfully slow Great grammar and spelling were present throughoutOpportunities for improvement Better character description of Carter besides his down under and his eyes especially in the final moments where the curiosity is being satisfied Like the thickness of his lips and the shape and contours of his body I really wanted the erotic moment to shine since it’s where the culmination of the action takes place The vibrator got shine than he did when it came to characteristics The same goes for KennaI also felt like the dialogue in some places could have been extensive especially the interaction between Kenna and Carter In other places it seemed forced For those who want their sex “Straight No Chaser” Sapphire serves as just enough For those who want a bit imaginative oomph in the form of a drawn out sexual episode Sapphire may not necessarily be your cup of tea
