findings a familyGrief guilt and loss can often keep us from helping other and refusing help when we need it Join Brett as he struggled with the loss of his brother and son as he opens his life up to help Haley as she struggle with her young nephews who have lost their parent I laughed cried and cheered as they learn to love live forgive and heal each other and friends and family around them The turned to the Lord for His guidance for themselves and then for each other A wonderful reminder to trust in the Lord and be willing to risk a lot in order to experience love and family Christmas 2018 is upon us and this story was written a little while ago and is in ebook Lovely story of instant parenting where at times you want to throw in the towel and return them The male character has an interesting background and he steps out and takes a risk I had a couple of late nights reading this book but so worth it Can't wait to read the first book in this series I loved this whole story Took me less than a day to read the whole story The characters are so real that you feel you know them This book provided good escape and a good story Haley reminds me a lot of myself in the way of not letting other people step in to help but when she does it sparks a new revelation that it is ok to ask for help Slow to start but after the second chapter the characters developed and made this Christmas story sweet His Mistletoe Family talks of lost and opens one's eyes to the lost of a soldier at least in the eyes of their family Reading this novel pulls all the emotional strings I have during times of family gatherings you know Thanksgiving Christmas New Year's Easteretc Every day should be time together and have a family meal I still remember growing up to dinner at 630 PM all around the dinner table eating family style Now it's hard to gather the troops This is a simple and sweet story about lost but also about family which doesn't necessarily mean the blood related type and what it means to gain in spite of the lost Ruthy shared with us why she wrote this book and after reading it it gives me a new sense of appreciation for His Mistletoe Family Dear Reader On Memorial Day in 2010 I stood alongside a tall strong forty something soldier I didn't know him He didn't know me He watched that small home town parade with grave intent On the back side of his military cap were tiny yellow ribbons marking two memories in a uiet private wayI knew I had to write a story about him Whoever he was That stoic soldier became the basis for Colonel Brett Stanton retired US Army And those two ribbons became symbols for Ben and Josiah Most of us are honored when others emulate us but when that example leads loved ones to an early grave the resulting guilt weighs heavy especially at holiday time 218I want to end with a uote in the story that is very relevant to all of us any time of the yearWe live such fast paced lives today that we forget to sit back Be still Breath Let things unfoldthat's why the Psalms talk so much about patience To wait on the Lord To stand strong and steadfast But no one said it would be easy 31Merry Christmas every day NOTE I received this book through a giveaway and a review was NOT reuiredhttpjustcommonlyblogspotcom2016
